Just bought a used UFO Rocket and learning in L.A., CA
Posted: Wed Aug 10, 2005 10:21 amHey, all! I'm new here and to surfing. I just bought a slightly dinged UFO Rocket, leash, soft rack, and sock for $285. Sweet or what? Trouble is, learning on this board isn't going so well. I just read that the Rocket are performance boards. Definitely not what I wanted to learn on, but the price was too good to pass up. Other than jsut to keep at it, does anyone have any suggestions? I go out at least once a week, but try for three times a week. This is in L.A., CA. Anyone out here know of good places where to learn? I've heard of some, but I'm always looking for more. Thanks!
