BIC OXBOW

Postby Fly » Tue Aug 09, 2005 5:51 pm

Hi everyone.

I recently purchased a Bic Oxbow. I have heard alot about bics not being all that good but this one was a recomendation. Surfers have come up to me a said that it is a nice board, but im not all convinced now i've purchased it. Its the 7'6 board.

Does anyone know any details on this board, and if it is actually a good board or not.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Fly,

Have you had it in the water yet? Only person who can tell wether its a good craft is you. I've seen boards that look like absolute pigs and yet their owners love and rip on them.

I've been surfing for 30 years now and others opinions can lead you astray as well as help you out. I's say give it a chance and see how it goes and don't be swayed by what's supposedly "cool" in the eyes of others.

On the plus side my understanding of the BIC boards is that they are very durable and will outlast a conventional glass board. And I've seen Pros riding them in the BIC classic held here in Australia.

Just my opinion fly, you need to be the one to answer the question.

Cheers
