Worst Surfboard, Luke Studer

Attached picture is My new Luke Studer Custom Surfboard after first riding
I paid 850 USD for this board but it's just disposible product

Because Paint is beginning to peel in all over the board, not only rail. Even there was no any collision during surfing

But Luke doesn't want to take any responsibility,
When Luke saw these pictures, he told me that he can't find any flaw in the pictures.

In myself, I can find ridiculous defect in a picture which was taken in their shop before taking it over

I will, indeed, never choose Luke who doesn't have any gurantee, waranty, responsibility
And gentlely recommend you to choose another brand and shaper who has resposible as a surfer

Its just paint; could be a bad spray job but the board isnt damaged.

So you saw the board with these issues in the shop, and paid 850 , New! Amazing and you still bought it!
Sprayed boards in Bali usually indicate problems.
I think you suckered yourself? A blunt truth sorry! :?

Sorry to hear about your experience. I have had a few Studers and was pleased with them; currently have two in my quiver and they surf great. They we're both customs made for other people, ordered with heavier glass than off the rack. I've had both for two seasons now and they have held up great. A great value board IMO.

When you say 850 that AUS dollars right? Please tell me you didn't pay 850 USD!

That shouldn't be PAINT. It looks to be a TINTed glass job board. But the weave is very dry, cut lap wasn't smoothed out properly and so many sand thru's. Very bad glassing and sanding. The maker should do something about that. You should have refused and pointed out the defects before. BUT ........ once you bought it and took it out to surf, it's yours. Live and Learn.

By the way, shorten that leash rope.
