Are these boards any good for a beginner?

Heya guys,

i want to begin streetsurfing on my longboard. i just don't know which one to choose. i got two which i would like to know more about and if they are any good.

i will most be cruising around, maybe doing some carves maybe even wanna try a little dancing if possible.

i weigh 209 pounds and i'm 6"5' tall.

i found these boards, are these any good?

Hi Phairdy, just a heads up for you! There are some street surfers on here and you will probably get some street longboard advice.
The site is mainly about surfing and longboards is about longboards and Malibu surfboards.
But stay on help may come! :lol:

The Longboard Piper 40 would be better for carving because it has a kicktail which allows you to pop the nose up and turn sharply. The other board has a flat extended deck and is more suitable for cruising and dancing.

I didn't know skateboard dancing was such a thing. :lol:
