Hey guys,

been surfing a BiC 9'4 Nat Young Model (9'4;22'3/4;3") for the last month or so and I have a question regarding the center fin. I'm using the one that comes with the BiC board, but I'm thinking of buying a new center fin... An advices on this???

Thanks in advance

I'll ask an honest question; why do you want a new fin?

Don't guess, you were quite happy with the fin before and unless you can really notice a problem learn to ride with it , read the fin primer and learn what you are guessing about.

There is so much hype created (by the industry for commercial reasons?) about the effect of fins, I think it's only natural people start thinking, and asking questions, about that.
I think in most cases u must be an advanced surfer to notice any change of a different finshape/material/flex/unameit using the same setup and size.
Not being an advanced surfer myself, I like to play around with finsetups and sizes just for the fun of trying something different. I realise though I cannot draw strong conclusions based on what effects I may notice, there are just too many variables in play in surfing.

In Northern New South Wales there is only one fin shape to worry about
