Firewire Submoon - How does it surf?

I am 5'8' 140 lbs, an intermediate level longer board surfer and am looking at a Firewire Submoon 8'2" board to ride on the Central Coast of California. Anyone have any experience with the board and how it surfs?

.......compared to what you ride now. I don't know because you haven't let us know what you ride currently. And what you like/don't about it. What are you aspire to do with the 8'2" submoon ?
