I have a Stewart Hydro Hull 9'2 surfboard (http://www.surfindustries.com/shop/au/s ... longboard/)

I lost my two side fins and donno if I can find some in time for the swell. Can I use the 6.5 center fin as a single fin or do I desperately need two side fins?

You can certainly use the 6.5 as a single fin, it is a little small, general rule of thumb is 1" per foot.

I'd move the fin a little back in the centre box to make it a little tighter with the small fin.
If the tail rocker is considerable then the board will be a lot more side slide as the won't be enough immersed fin for the turn you may be used too as a thruster set up.

Free your mind and your surfing, try it out!

"donno if I can find some in time for the swell" - What size swell are you talking about ? 6-8 feet ?

Thanks Jaffa!!

Waikiki, no smaller than that. I live by the Mediterranean sea so about 3-4 feet at the highest...
