Yep for real, mile rides are easily possible, with the right condition even more!
One local rider rode 9.2miles!
Imagine, 5min or 10min or more on one wave! Clean glassy waves from 2-5ft!
All this and more on the Severn bore!

The Severn Bore and the French Mascarete are on my surfing bucket list my trips to the UK so far haven't coincided with a good bore. HMMMM next time!
There are bores in Australia Kimberley coast but they are full of saltwater crocodiles and the sea end also has sharks.Remote, risky and unlike the Bore and the Mascarete no cafes!

th only thing that worries me about the bore is that is a very long walk back

Long walk sometimes, we tend to park up and paddle down to meet the bore, surf back to the van!
Were just putting things together to sort boat trips for bore visitors then you can get a dozen spots in one set of tides, no walks. As opposed to the 3 or 4 spots travelling by rd.
