Heard of Surfers Alliance?

Postby Buttertoes » Fri May 17, 2013 2:46 am

Hi! I am looking to downsize from my longboard and found a used fibreglass Surfers Alliance 7'6", but I am not finding much information on the brand. I may go have a look at it this weekend and wanted to see if anyone has any opinions.

I hear epoxy boards hold their value since they're tough. How about fibreglass? This one has a "professionally repaired" nose ding. What should a person look for to tell if there's life left in a glass board?

I am still considering boards recommended to me in a previous post, but wanted to see if this might be a decent deal :)

thanks!

Hi ya Toes, glad to see you emerging from hibernation. If you can get physical look at the board and like it can't see why not"!

Have a fun summer!

thanks Jaffa! It was a long windy dreary winter. Looking forward to spending more time again at the beach :)

I found a local shop that sells 7S as you mentioned before. If this falls through will have a drive down to check them out. A bit more $$ than I have these days though!
