Just an update, Uncle Jaffa wrote an article and took photos of his Mentawai trip, submitted them and glory be, the magazine is going to publish them. Have a look. See those fins in use!

you should have a grom/teenager top 100 or top 50 or something, you could use NSSA and NSSA Jr. champions...

Jaffa are you the bald walrus with a local draped around your neck and/or the guy arse up head down on the foam mid length with gloves on?

I saw the preview would like to see more but it isn't obvious how one gets hold of a copy.

Yep guilty on both counts, we all shaved our heads, personal solar panels
I am the walrus koo koo kachew! It was a great trip just three weeks before the tsunami.
Twenty days of amazing surf saving up to do it again.
Not sure of how to get one myself, it was published May 1 in Florida, the website hasn't show much change for a while.
I'll have to go to the site to see if my head is lower than my bum

Thank heavens it is lower and not up my bum although I have been accused of that too!

We are out with our first issue. Look for us in the US at Books-A-Million, Borders, Hastings, Waldenbooks, and various retailers (like grocery stores and the like) and in Canada at Chapters. If all else fails, we're selling single copies on ebay! Help us develop into your magazine. Check us out on facebook (www.facebook.com/soakedmagazine)

Just saw the picture of Inna Bell on the Facebook wall for Soaked Magazine and it immediately reminded me of how Australians toast a new enterprise with by saying "bottoms up"
and then then drain the glass. "Bottoms Up" Soaked

There is a good magazine doing the rounds every couple of months here in Australia. It's distributed free to surf shops up and own the east coast and features the average surfer with photos stories and their opinions.
The Magazine is called "Smorgasboarder" have a look for it, maybe I can mail one to :?: SW
