Surfing Waves

Was wondering if anyone has ridden the 9' Mega Magic. Trying to find something easily paddled as the shoulders arent enjoying surfing as much anymore. Am currently riding a 9'6 x 22 3/4 x 3 3/8. Finding myself walking out as much as possible but paddling hard to get on the wave. Have also considered the NSP 10'2
