difference between longboard and a noserider

what is the difference between a noserider and a longboard?

Both types are longboards, but one obviously isn't designed to noseride, so isn't handicapped by unnecessary noseriding features .

^ I agree with Roy although you can in fact nose ride a non-nose rider (I nose ride a 9foot narrow gun built for down the line speed)

For once I agree with Roy! A noserider will be thicker at the front, fatter hips too and concave at the nose all designed to add lift and float when your weights forward.

This does not make for a better all round board, its a tool for a more specific task, yes you can ride it like a normal longboard but it is compromised for noseriding.

They are both types of longboards..
The nose has thicker features and and tends to have a concave nose..
