swansea surf spot

hi i heard about a point break in swansea were you surf into the estuary has anyone surfed it and if so whats it like what are the rips there like

Think your talking about Broughton bay. It only works when the waves are 3-4ft at genith.
Best as the tide is rising and high.

Rips are an absolute nightmare, made the mistake of going down once at the wrong time and couldnt get out past waist high even when standing.

However,when it does work its a very slow mellow wave, that peels lovely, excellent for longboarding.

hi thanks think im going to give it a try when i can get there with the right conditions do you park in hill end and walk over to it??

Broughton has its own car park. You need to walk through the caravan site to get to it. A little bit of a walk so its worth driving through the site to check it out first.

Its well signposted at the mini roundabout in Llangenith.
