Quick question about longboard leash plug setup:
I had to replace the finbox on my longboard recently because of some damage. The guy who did the replacement did a great job on the leash box replacement.
He also re-drilled the leash plug hole but didn't put in a plug itself. There is just a small hole that runs through the board from the finbox to the deck.
Being as I'm relatively new to the sport, not sure if I should be looking for a leash plug to attach and if this is possible to do myself or if I should just take the already knotted leash rope and try with all my might to feed it through the hole (thus leaving the knot on the bottom in the fin box and the loop out the top). I'm not even sure if the latter is possible, I've spent a about twenty minutes trying to get it through and I don't think it's possible.
Sorry for the newb question (I ask a lot of these). Thanks in advance for the help.
