Recommendations on longboard design

Postby greypump » Fri Jul 18, 2008 3:57 pm

Not that I'm buying at the moment, but just wondered what makes of longboards (available in UK) are generally regarded as having the best designs and materials? I'd be interested to hear views on both glass and epoxy custom ones.

Cheers

I prefer glass jobbers....more flex. Walden (magic model)is one of the better off the rack logs you can buy. Stewart's are fun too. A local shaper if good can make one to your style...if you know what you like. If not get a good off the rack board, surf it for a time .....then get with a shaper and show him what you are riding, and tell him what you like and dislike about performance.
