have you tried looking on the net?
Most of the top brands offer their boards in epoxy, either Flexlite or Tufflite.
My Herbie Fletcher Thriller comes in either epoxy or Polyester, and I've got it in Flexlite and it is virtually bullet proof, beleive me. I can give details if you require.

PM me if you like. Or contact your nearest compsand member. Or just post on the compsand forums to see who's nearby and what they can do for you!

Hey dude, give a Herb board a try. I swapped boards with a friend that surfs a hand shaped traditional fibreglass board today. He loved it and has about ten years surfing experience, rather than my 10 months. He is selling another board from the same shaper to buy one of Herb's.

see for yourself how it handles. this is a clip of the man himself. the board he tows behind his bike at the end is mine, and it's him riding it.

Do I?

Virtually every site in the world allows a sig...

And this was definately on topic.

I'll drop it if you prefer.

I meant that I went to the trouble of putting a link on to show who Herbie Fletcher is, and this guy said he didn't want a pop out board, he wanted one made by a surfer......................
I would have thought that he may have replied to say he didn't realise who Herb was. after all he's been surfing and making boards since the 1960s.
Also Flexlite is not a popout.
imho it has a responsive ride, certainly as responsive as a fibreglass/poly board, plus it's stronger (mine had a close encounter with a max headroom bar whilst on my roofrack with no damage), and they don't pressure dent.
Anyway, I don't care what anyone else thinks, I love it. It's the best board I've ever ridden, and now I've moved the fin a little more forward it handles even better. Managed my first floater yesterday.

Hi Phil,

Guess I'm just stoked on these kinds of boards :D And people have been asking questions that seem directly relevant (surftech, epoxy, pressure dents type questions).

Sorry everyone, like I said just stoked and trying to share :D FWIW I lose money on that site.

Keef,

Ah, gotcha. I think what he was getting at is that the board was originally designed by by Herb. Yeah, flexlite tech is certainly very similar to compsand tech.

Are they all handshaped and handbuilt?

Cheers,
