He say, "Spend a few weeks riding a Single fin, and you will definitely improve you surfing technique. Then when you get back on that Thruster or Twin or 2+1, you'll see the difference it makes."
I'm gonna do it.

I still do the curb thing when walking the dog. The neighbors (and the dog) think I'm weird but it helps.![]()
To the advice posted, consider adding a stomp pad to your board. It's an easy way to know when to stop walking back and carve a turn. I learned to cross step by dedicating a half hour to the skill at the beginning of every session and practicing on small waves. I started with just one step forward and back and then added more. I also moved slowly at first then stepped more quickly as my confidence grew.
I agree with Big H ... WKKKChan's blog is a great resourse! http://alohaki.jugem.jp/

I was referring to Bo man's post regarding the traction pad. Yes, mine came with 3M adhesive.waikikikichan wrote:saltydog wrote:I'm adding a tail pad once my board is fixed. However, I'm not planning on a committed relationship so no Gorilla Glue for me
???? Most Traction Pad / Tail pads use 3M adhesive. So once it goes down, it's not suppose to come off. So make sure you don't put it up too high.
