Would this board work for me?

Postby momar » Sun Feb 04, 2007 6:53 pm

Hi.
I'm a fairly new surfer, live in Florida, and have been offered a Maui Tropix 9'2" noserider. I've only surfed a few times (in Hawaii and Florida), and I want to learn to longboard. I'm 5' 10" and 160 lbs.
I know I'm pretty ignorant about this stuff, but I know I love to get on a board and ride a bit, and hope to do that much more.
Would this board work for me - is it something I can learn on, grow into, and enjoy with my size and desire to longboard?

Thanks much!

If its a true noserider then it should be a fair begginers board to, so long as you stear clear of the nose ...:D

Good length should be fine.
