That's the break I broke my jaw at....only when I did that it was low tide and bigger swell. Super nice wave at high tide....still relatively uncrowded for some reason; not really part of the tourist track.

BTW, for anyone who is wondering, don't bother to ask the name.....LOL

I wish I could get that much of my board out of the water!

Heh if I could trade pounds of fat for inches of board length I could start to try to think of ways to start to learn how to figure out surfing maneuvers that are not ever close to what this guy is doing

Many thanks to you for sharing! It's wonderful this man has such talent.

Now onto the other-worldly aspect of my viewing experiencing. As suggested, I forward to :44. At that very moment, Deep Purple's "My Woman From Tokyo" began to play on my small stereo. This combination of video and music was nearly a perfect match!

What is that move at 1:25, he does it twice. Is that a re-entry in the whitewater?

I like his style!

Your standard " Foam Climb" when you're caught a little too behind the curl. If the wave is "running away" and there's no time or not enough energy/angle from the wave to pump, then you do a climb up the foamy face to get a little bit of gravity momentum and cross over onto the clean face. I guess it is like a mini re-entry in the whitewater, but most would call it a Foam Climb.
