Any Old Salts From Pensacola Area?

Postby wormybear » Tue Jun 19, 2012 7:10 pm

Hi, anyone reading this. But I am a general newcomer lost in the sea of information, and I could use your help. I am looking to buy my first longboard but could use some helpful advice on the subject. I know we have much and not very consistent or long sets, and that longboards are better suited for our surf; but beyond that I'm clueless.

I would eventually like to get into riding and collecting vintage boards and could use some advice on that subject too. But, right now I could use some tips on shape, weight, and length that is best for here. I am also inerested in anything else someone could tell me about surfing here for that matter. Thanks for any future advice on the subject. And I welcome any advice from anyone who understands mush and longboards.

Thanks again. :? :)

Don't know your area but a Quick google search found this guy, seems a good place to start.

Think he works for these guys or they'll know how to contact him

Your goal shouldn't be to get on a small board as soon as possible, it should be to surf and have as much fun as possible.
