Depends, how long you been surfing? I was preety rough on my first boards, I wasn't used to carrying them, would drop them, bang them...

Like suring, you get better at caring for you boards. My oldest is 5yrs old, has about 4 dings and the usual deck pressure dings that hide under the wax, the rest are newer and in better shape, except for the one beater I own that I use as a loaner.

Board dings ! Hahahahahahaha

I have a gazillion dings in my board !

I know where nearly everyone came from !

Some for my knees, some from the freaking pebbles on a shorey closeout, some from the car park, some from the roof rack and some from just being a dullard !.

(Oh, and a couple from head shots while trying rad stuff off big lips !).

My board, having only just managed to strap the tail down, even cut through a mates car roof when the wind flipped the ‘board around the roof rack and the fin cut the metal !
Fin dings too !

Excellent topic - hahahaha  !

While not a longboard, my 6'3" was bought second hand with nearly no glass covering the foam on the tail, a section missing on the nose, and a few cracks on the side. Fixed it up and managed to crease it three times before finally snapping it on a duck dive of all things. It was a year and a half old

My 7'4" met the pier three times. First time a few scratches, second I managed to bash out a chunk on the side of the board, and third I punctured a hole next to the one fin. I sold it and is still intact as far as I know and going on four years old. It was pulled through my backside while I had it and Ive dropped it too many times to care. I have knocked it on walls, rocks, and cars. It was a true "never say die" board

when the cable guy came to install the line in my apartment he went into the attic. he pulled down a bunch of junk, including a beat up banged up old board that must have been sitting in there for 5+ years. My former roommate, who lived there before me was a giant woman, so I know it wasn't hers. But it was cracked, dinged and gouged almost everywhere. The best part was, it had snapped in half and someone sealed it back together, did a pretty terrible job too. I just left it out by the dumpster.

true story...

Got a full width indent crease across the bottom scoping round a drop in from their out of control nose. Got hit in exactly the right spot eskimo rolling under the very next wave. :o
BTW Na papa have gone broke in Australia don't know about the rest of the world, they were not too bad for Chinese stuff.

The distributor was a mate so I now have a blue one for the light weight days.

You're just copying me :?: or maybe you are writing under a Chinese nom der plume :?: or you are depressed about the Sinophobic comment on surfboards made in China.
