Big Boards Can Rip

Postby The Big Kahoona » Wed Dec 31, 2008 3:21 am

Aloha from Down Under

Lots of people think that longboards cant rip, it you have the right board and the right weight then it can be done. I ride a Mickey Munoz 12fter and ride places like Point Impossible and Inside Lonsdale in Victoria when it gets to 7-8 feet with little or no problems. But I have 235lb to throw around!

The bigger it gets the better.

See you in the soup.

I'm with ya BK, I use my morbid obesity to huck my log all over the wave. Takes a lard ass like you and me to handle a beast like that proper in some double over head hollow madness!!
Keep the stoke!!

Meh, its all about feet positioning IMO. If Im on the right spot on my mini-mal, then i can chuck some decent spray, but yes, it is still easier to rip with a 6'2" shorty
