unless your sponsored you can look like a bit of a *edit* fool *edit* with a board covered in stickers, but if I did have some they would go on the bottom, preventing them from getting covered in wax.

yeah stickers are for pros and kooks. but does putting them on the bottom of the board effect the ride at all?

^ Couldn't agree more. I don't think they cause enough drag that you would notice them.

That is too funny. I'm no pro and not a kook either, so you probably should buy a surf magazine and see how their done up.

Do whatever you like...there are no rules! If you think it looks good...do it.

Put the stickers on your car/van. If you want to, i did that for a while. Then took them off because i could`nt see out the back of my van.

bottoms normally best, the wax wont spoil it, and shouldnt get rubbed off so easily

dont put them on at all!! unless u r sponsored!! because everyone in the line up wen u r surfing will think u cood b quite gd if you have stickers on but then wen they c u catch a wave the whole thing looks 'kookish' well then they will just ignore you like the rest of the guys. Sorry to say this but gd guys dont like kooks in the water. ESPECIALLLY IF U DROP IN ON THEM.

There's no need to shout we can hear you perfectly well graveymanic. May i also point you in the direction of this post!

There's no diference in my opinion to covering your board in stickers than if you decided to paint your board. Also most boards have there brand name on, so there's already stickers on it.
Personally if i see a board with stickers on it i don't think he/she must be a pro or kook, i think hey look a board with stickers on it!

i think if you have a brand you prefer then why not represent your preference?

if you think someone is pro for having a sticker then you are naive.

I think he means accent - at least I hope he does, or else I'm definitely in the wrong country

I've heard about our accent being confused with Aussie accents before, but never South African
