To give you a little background info, i've been surfing for 2 years, and thanks to the help of some nice guys i know, never had to buy a board and tried out dozens. I tried longboards, fish, hybrid fish, shortboard, everything. I Most enjoyed the shortboard, so thats what I'm looking to get.I surf in waves that range from waste high, to overhead in storms. I did some research and http://cisurfboards.com/sb_flyerF.asp looked like the right board for me. My only question is what size should i get it in, and should I get epoxy or the regular type. I weigh 135 lbs, and am about 5'7''.

If you're looking at either epoxy or polyester, be aware that they have different strength and flex characteristics. Surf an epoxy board before you buy one.

Epoxy is stronger, more rigid, and generally a better polymer material, however polyester has years of experience behind its use in surfboards, meaning that anybody with 3 fingers, and no brain can repair a ding.

I guess you'd be looking at around the 6'2 length, but I assume you've probably already identified that from surfing other peoples' boards...

good luck in the board search!
