everything was going well with my spider until a noticed some small yellow cracks by the tail, didnt think it was that serious until last week when i checked it out again and noticed a big chunk missing going straight thru to the foam

brought it to a local shaper to fix and he said spider uses a cheap resin which has no uv blocker in it. the glass layer is also very thin

all these things mixed together mean than any dings or over-exposure to sunlight and lead to cracking and damage

bummer dude

I had heard simillar things too about spider boards but it was just something ive heard and not something ive personally seen. This is why its good to buy from your local shaper, as you can specify what glass and if you have serious problems like this you can go back to him and get him to sort it.
