Good surfboard make?

Postby megsurfgurl » Sun Mar 25, 2007 2:35 pm

Hi ive been riding a 7ft3 minimal for 2.5years and now im bored with it. So after trying out 6ft8 boards and finding them easy Ive decided to go for something about 6ft5x19.5x2.5. I want to get a board as soon as possible, but Im not sure what make to get. Im looking to spend about £350. Please could someone help!

thankyou.

You might want to try out a twin or quad fin board. They are very fast and will take you places tri's and singles won't. It comes down to can you handle the looseness of the board. If you can, it will open up a whole new way to shred.

Yeh, Id say try before you buy too.
It isnt really the make that matters, its whether you can ride the board or not, although i suppose having a cool board is a bonus.

Mega,

Try worrying less about the make of the board than where you actually want to go with your surfing. Once you decide how you want to progress, it'll determine what you need in your quiver. Which is one of the best things surfers can do - build a great quiver for all kinds of conditions. Good luck.
