those perfect noses on brand new boards do look nice, but they never stay that way for long  anyway its a good excuse to get a nose guard, protects the nose but more importantly protects you from the nose when its hurtling towards you after a wipeout.

oh and i also have a question, since the glass is cracked alittle bit, can i just stick some duct tape over that? Like will the duct tape keep the water out and keep the board water tight? If so how much should i put? cause i see people doing that and never really knew if it worked or not. i dont have any solarez, and i wanna go surifng tomrow, so answers greatly appreciated :D

Lol dont put tape on and just purchase suncure or something. I put a piece of duct tape on my 6"6 and I when I bought suncure to fix it a couple months afterwards it was pretty hard to take off and left this strip of residue which dosn't seem to come off.

yea, use suncure, it's easy and a lot better idea.

Tell your mom to buy it for you.

"Ahhh xxxxx ma, my board got dinged, I blew all of my money on a dub sack, and some beer, do you think you could pick me up some Suncure?"

"thanks ma, your the greatest!"

what I am getting at is you shouldn't make your mom feel bad bro, your mom is more important than the board. Sucks, but it is an easy fix.

Lovingthesurf...i feel your pain!

The same thing happened to me but it was the delivery man who throw it out of his van onto the road that broke the nose almost straight off of my new 6 6" al merrick......fleshin'!

I hate breaking boards, but its so much worse when someone else does it!

I agree with cj get your mum to buy you some sun cure, if you went into her room and broke her stuff im sure she would get you to pay for it.

It's totally understandable being sad about that, but things could be worse. Think about the story of little Harry Leopold. That fella has had a tough time for sure! On the day he was due to be born to Eugene and Matilda Brown (a lovely couple from Sussex), the stalk, who was working overtime mixed up the despatch orders and delivered him to Daz and Colleen Ball (a not so nice couple from Liverpool). Poor Harry grew up wondering why the rest of his brothers and sisters didn't look as ginger as he did (yeah, poor Harry was a ginger too) and as far as he knew, none of his ancestors were ginger either. This started a very bad complex, and Harry was many times on the verge of throwing his shoes at the squirrels in frustration. Somewhere in Harry's brain, he felt that anything ginger was bad and wanted to get rid of all reminders of gingerness. Eventually, Harry dyed his hair blonde and went to Broadway to act in the stage version of "Jaws 3" where he became a hit. That's when Harry realised he was gay. Now, these days, nobody really bats an eyelid when someone says they're gay, cause there are so many around, but Harry wasn't a normal person. Harry grew up with the Anti Gay Militia (You can call your local branch of the Anti Gay Militia on (area code) 937429) and therefore believed that all gay people were destined to walk the earth in silly nightcaps and wear green phosphorous trainers in the afterlife. Anyway, Harry (incorrectly or correctly... not my call, I'm just telling the story) supressed his gay urges and got married to a little known actress called Tammy Cruz. What Harry didn't know was that Tammy was formerly known as Tommy, and in the past was the leader of a deadly motorcycle gang called the Pink Posies (Liverpool Chapter) and that the gang was after Tammy for trying it on with the 2nd in command's Dad. The gang burst in one night and sprayed bullets all over the place, and if that wasn't enough, they didn't even wipe their feet when they came in, and left an awful mess when they left. Sadly, poor Harry died in the confusion of a heart attack and a bullet to the knee (most people don't know that a bullet to the knee is deadly when it's a poison bullet.. they're made in Taiwan)

So anyway if you think you're unlucky, just think of poor Harry!

don't worry, the story is still there, only edited out the bad spelling

Haha. Just never seen randomness like that in my life (wow). But its cool - must have been the concerned 'youth worker' leaking into my everyday life.

who the fleshin fleshy McFlesherson is kitseurfer? I've never met him in my life, and therefore, he cannot honestly say that I'm a freak. PEOPLE I AM NOT A FREAK! I just like to see women in straw hats feeding lions. Now I know I'm not the only one, so don't call me a freak.

I'd always assumed that you guys in the forces get random drug checks quite often and that this would result in all 'our boys' not becoming deranged psychotic basket cases :? ah well you learn a new thing every day... :P
