Not sure about the fins on that board. Can you measure them across the base and the height?
Normally twin fin fishes have fins with a very wide base for extra drive due to the lack of a third fin. This is one of the reasons why they are quite loose and great fun to ride. The fins on the board your showing us appear to be very deep but not very wide. I don't know as i haven't ridden a board like that one but i'm guessing it will be even looser and might be difficult to get drive from the fins. You might find it difficult in the turns. It is nice and thick for it's length so it will catch most waves and will go like a rocket
Anyone else have any thoughts?

Ask him if you can try it out first...best way to find out is to ride it!

The fins do look a bit off from the norm, but who knows it might work for you.

If he's not charging too much for it; it'll probably be worth it.

It'll be a fun board to play around with.

Don't get frustrated, though. It's gonna be a change from your 6'4".. and it's gonna be looooose.

Very!
Shorter but thicker will mean it will probably catch waves earlier. Then you'll try and stand up on it and will scoot out from under you probably leaving you behind thinking i'm not quite sure what just happend but god it was fun! Let me try that again.
Short, fat and thick fishes are great fun to ride but that one looks like it'll be very loose and very easy to fall off.
Don't forget to practise your dismount, he's me utilising my well practised fish dismount!

I found this video. IS this what it looks like on a fishboard? :o
seems like fish is not designed for the speed and it is hard to pump it~ it more looks like a longboard with lot's of fun

Yeah that definately looks like a foam fish to me. Don't bz makes body boards?
There the types of waves fish excell on. But fish are designed for speed, there very fast and rely on lots rail to rail turns rather than pumping in small surf.
Still getting used to mine, i find its loads of fun when the surf is a little bit messy.
