Hey I was wondering if people know how much a billabong surfboard runs for...Are they super expensive or budget boards...Also are they good boards?

Hi, They usually aren't too expensive. They are roughly mid priced, depends where you get it from. I got mine for £350 from £420. The new billabong shortboards are around £399.
As for performance, ive been happy with mine. Mines a 6'10 funboard which I find a very good all rounder which has helped me progress. They make pretty solid boards and are very good on customer service. Brian will tell you. His Billabong board cracked and the company made him a brand new one for his needs for free.

I would highly reccomend Billabong Boards. as laguna said, they gave me a free board after my old board broke (due to a fault on their part). They aren't the cheapest board, but then again, they are made by quite well known shapers, just smacked with the Billabong logo on it. However, they aren't too overly expensive and cost around the same as your ordinary board (from where I got mine anyway).

I definately reccomend them. 8)

wow £399 doenst exactly sound mid priced to me!

I know theres a shop in town which has some but its not really a surf shop - just a clothes shop with a small handfull of surf gear to make it look more credible. Dont be fooled by buying a brand, like brian said they are made under license by shapers not some bong factory, so the brand name doesnt mean that much, worry more about the shape and size (and condition if its 2nd hand).
I used to know a guy who bought a billabong 6-0 for his first board cos he thought it would be good cos of the brand, I never saw him catch a wave on it in 2 years  . Saw him a few months ago and he now has a minimal.
