I prefer speedo's.
Especially if they're a size or two too small & nice & snug for the boys.
Beige is my fave colour also...skin coloured :-)))

what about the rest of you fleshers???

From a girls point of view, i HATE surfing in boardies, i get a really bad rash from them and they just seem to flap around and get in my way, even the really short ones. If its warm enough for boardies, its warm enough for bikini bottoms so i usually wear a bikini with a rashie over the top. Saying that though, finding a pair of bottoms that actually stay on when you hop onto your board or pop up can be a bit of a mission!

Metallic Purple speedos for me!

But I wont make the mistake of stuffing them with cotton wool again.....It goes all soggy and slips around the back which is the opposite of the desired effect!

Can anyone recommend some packing material that's light and doesnt bulk and will stay in position even under extreme conditions.

I like to look 'manly' even after a heavy beating....ooooer missus!

Brent...have you tried the latest neon beige speedos?

hehehehe no problem.... I actually wear a wetsuit with boardies and a rashie underneath in England, and just boardies when I go back home.

I generally do the same, but found a pair of board shorts recently that I don't have that problem with getting rashes. I wear a 2-piece workout suit, either Speedo or TYR, as they have drawstrings to help keep them from falling off. :D

Well made boardies won't give you the rash.

Well, I bought these new Quicksilver boardshorts, but they gave me a front of the leg rash, so I wear long cycling lycra shorts under my boardies (+ a rash vest)

It's all about the right material and where the seams are.

So true, and girls boardies seem to have seems in all the wrong places in terms of comfort. I know Brents got a couple of pairs of seemless boardies which he loves (ripcurl maybe?) but i've never seen a pair of seemless girls boardie. Even so, i'm still not overly keen on haveing boardies sticking to me, i just prefer the whole bkini bottom thing.

Mind you it is a bit distracting when you pop up and realise that you pants are halfway up your bum and half the people in the water are seeing far mare of you than is sociably acceptable

Maybe i should be wearing boardies for other peoples sake!
