What are your opinions on the double wing swallow tails? How do they perform? Thanks.

had a rusty c5 couple a years ago with a triple flyer swallow tail, and found it very easy to turn and was loose on the back foot . too much pressure and it slid out pretty easy. definitely a small wave board.

it's either a double wing swallow tail or a wide round/squash tail. I'll be surfing the small mushy waves in Texas.

Boards with those tails...are an elegant solution to the problem of having a wide board - but needing a swept-in tail to enable a board to turn and have some bite on steeper waves. How else could you go from a 20" plus board at mid-point to a 12-13" tail without them? They were real common in the late 1970's.
