im drawn between absoulutly evry signle beginner board availible!?!

i have a small idea on wat bord to get-it was going to be a take-off epoxy big boy flyer 1-but im slightly drawn to a nsp board-(they both have 3 fins free leash, wax and bag)!

my frends seem to think i shuld get a rele rubbish beginners board (maily becos they have them) but im not sure as i want to get a decent board i can sell for an OK price to get a custom board (in the future )

my frends seem to think BIC all the way-but then NSP and take-off look alot better for a decent price and deal!

i've been told loads-its my decision blady blah! but i need proffesional advice-as i've only been surfing on surface and swell boards (although i have borrowed my mates custom board)

its going to be my first board-and ive got around £200 to £250-but i rele dont want to get badly ripped off! im about 5ft3 and wiegh around 7 nd a half stone. (i dont n=know in pounds or kg-im rele crap at all dat metric system) - i was drawn to a mini mal but im afraid they r too big for the car!

this may be alot to read-nd some may not be bothered-but id rele apreciate your advice!

get a custom board. You should be able to get something decent for that price.

I got my custom 7ft4 funboard for £350. thats what u need a funboard/minimal.

search this forum - theres literally 1000's of these posts!

Alright mate ,everyone slags them of but I"d go for the 7.6 nsp as there alot lighter than the bic"s and therefore easier to turn plus there also hard as nails.
If your going to go for a custom job you"ve got to remember your boards gonna take abit of a beating and epoxy is alot tougher than glass.

i can understand why BIC boards are so bad-my mate has one and she hates it!

but would a NSP be good enough? imj worried its going to be just as bad as a BIC? i know its my first board and should look for a easy to use beginners board? but im used to using my mates custom board-and cant stand swell boards! (ha that face looks like im constapated!)

anyway.....im being swayed onto a 6ft8 second hand board. its fibre glass, but would it sell as gd for third hand!? would i be better off with an NSP-do they sell gd for second hand or do they not sell second hand at all (i have been round st.ives-newquay-perranporth-falmouth-truro and havent seen one second hand NSP only brand new ones?)

i rele want a board by april---so i can get in the surf early!

6ft8 would be too small i think. go for something 7ft+

wouldnt a 7ft be too big? (A: it wuldnt fit in the car)

i did try to go for a mini mal--but shop keepers and shapers sed dat it wuld be easier for me to get between 6ft and 7ft.?.

All this "get a long board" is non-sense. My first board I had was just as tall/long as me. The only real thing you have to consider, is the floatation it has, and the stability.

... on the subject of fitting a board in your car... I bought an NSP 7"2 to learn on and it fits in my tiny little corsa! (just). It's really wobbly though and sometimes I think it would have been easier to get a longboard and have the hassle of getting a roof rack and straps!

Everyone I talk to always freaks out about fitting a board in your car. They will fit, just not comfortably or even leagally. I mean a board 7'2?, you could fit in just about any sized car.
