New to the Forum

Just wanted to drop in and say Hello to everyone out there. I've been lookign for a surf forum, and found you guys..

A little bit about myself,
I live in So Cal, usually surf in Hutington, surfside, Bolsa Chica, and El porto, or Venice. I've surfed in Western Australia (scarborough and Lancelin) Fiji (mini cloudbreak and a few others i don't remember). I'm not that good, but I guess i'm at the intermediate level. I catch waves fairly easy and do bottom turns and carve a little, I just can't link too many together. I've been surfing for about 3 years, had a Bruce jones hybrid surfboard, which I just sold, and have a 6'10" shortboard that's nice and wide..I'm looking for a new all around shortboard, but with the whole closing of clark foam, i'm trying to get in touch with more local shapers and see what they are designing. I'm thinking about going epoxy, but there's lots of talk nowadays regarding it, and i'm concerned that it will ride differently, but I like the whole virtually indestructable aspect of them. Imagine a board with no dings. Ok that might be an overexaggeration, but it's definately tougher than the typical board.
