Trim height of traction pad kick

Postby CarboardDog » Mon Jun 20, 2022 6:10 am

I'd like to hear from anyone who has successfully trimmed down the kick on a rear traction pad that's already fitted to a board?
I know I could use a sharp blade etc but I really only want to hear from someone who has actually done this, and exactly how they did it.

thanks!

I guess you can trust this guy. Try searching "Here is JJF Re-Shape his Traction Pad and then reshaping".

Not really rocket science. I use scissors and knives/cutting boards to customize shapes to tails. Just need knife skills and a decent sharp knife. Also, tail pads come in different kick heights and widths so there’s that as well.
