What fish to get?

Postby txsurfer07 » Mon Nov 07, 2005 4:59 am

Hey I'm down in Texas so we get the occasional good surf days every once and a while and I was looking in to adding a fish to my selection. Any suggestions on any good boards that were awesome buys for yall. I'm looking at a custom X-Fish heres the pics. Later

Five fins. It's a canard quad with a centre fin, perhaps to be used as a thruster or with a small stabliser.
Wanna know about 5 fins. Do a google search of Rusty's C-5 or ask the same question on swaylocks.

No, I think I've only posted 2-3 times on swaylocks.

No need to post new stuff/questions...as most questions are well-answered in their archives. Thousands & Thousands of threads....
I've learned heaps from reading there in recent years. Most of those guys really know what they're talking about...and they do not tolerate fools gladly.

that's no fish...

to me i looks really draggy because the wp is so far back, and hard to paddle, but would pivot off the hip well.

But yeah, it's probally a quad with a stabilizer, or maybe (probally unlikely) it's a bonzer 5.

do what you want though, it's your money

I've got a 6' twin fin erie fish that i might be willing to sell. I make quite a few trips to galveston too. Let me think for a day or 2 if you are even interested. But its a pretty good board, i just want another SPD.

Alright I'll think bout it. Send me some pics and we'll talk. I was just basically seeing did anyone know of a board that was worth the money really. I didn't wanna go out and pick up some board and end up hating it in the end.

I dont think im gonna sell it now. If i was you, i would get a twin fin retro style fish. If you want to wait on a custom(thats what id do) you should talk to steve pearson (SPD).
