Hi again,
As I said in another post I don't really understand how surfing or surf equipment works. In my experience I find I adapt how I surf to the conditions and equipment but I don't get how all the bits and pieces fit together to determine functionality.
For fun here is an example of 3 pointy nose small wave/ all rounder hpsb all roughly 33 liters.
More out of curiosity than anything else, and just to understand more. As you can see the local shaped board is both thicker and wider but has slightly less volume and has an almost stepped deck with how quickly the board tapers to the rails. What board would be best for a more high performance approach in smallish waves narrow with foam all the way out to boxy rails or wide with very taper knifey rails?
