Quick HELP choosing my next FUTURE fins

Hello everyone, new to the forum. I will be ordering a Sharpeye Disco (5'7'' x 19.13'' x 2.3''... 25.7L) or maybe (5'8'' x 19.25'' x 2.35''... 26.3L) Thruster and I am looking to find the correct fins for the type of surfing that I have around me. I am from Panama in Central America so I have the Pacific Ocean with good beach breaks and pointbreaks that are mostly around 2ft-5ft but there is also the Atlantic Ocean which has beach breaks as well as reef breaks with waves fairly bigger and fatter. I am most of the time surfing the Pacific side in conditions around 2ft-6ft. I weight 150 lbs and my height is 5'7'' with and intermediate level of surfing looking to improve my performance. I want to know if there is a Future fin that can fit this type of surf all around. I want to be able to generate speed in small days as well as have a good grab in bigger days. I have done my research and based on my weight I found the Futures WCT Honeycomb and the Futures Lost V2 Generation Thruster wcould fit me. Should I go with one of these two or look at any other Future fin? I am open to any recommendations, Thanks. :D

Here are the two fins:
Lost V2 Generation: https://futuresfins.com/surfboard-fins/lost-m.html
WCT Honeycomb: https://futuresfins.com/surfboard-fins/ ... b-377.html

WCT are a good all around fin; I have two sets and use them a lot even at my size (96kg).

Questions:
1) What were your "Go-To" fins on your previous shortboards. Even if they weren't Futures, ( say they were FCS ) that information will help narrow down the choices.

2) Did you see Noel Salas review of the Sharpeye Disco, and what fin he liked that worked for him ?

Fin part starts at 9:00 mark.

Hi, thanks for the feedback... I have been using the FCS AM1 ( https://goo.gl/images/SUXTmy ) as my all around fin but I feel they have not been working good on me... maybe its because I have been using a 5''9' Al Merrick Zeus as my board and it very high performance. That is why I am moving to the Disco in order to improve my style. What Future fin would you choose if you were in my position, based on the conditions? Any of the two I previously mentioned or any other.

I saw the video, great review. He mentions FCS II fins though.

Thnks again

He does mention about BASE, HEIGHT, RAKE ( and FLEX ) that worked good for 1-3 and 2-5 foot waves. You can find those attributes in certain FUTURES fins. There are shapes/outlines that crossover from brand to brand. Like the WCT fin was actually called the "KS" before. It is virtually the same as FCS K2.1 fin.

Why aren't you considering any of the standard "composite" Thermotech fins ? They are cheaper and flex differently than the honeycomb or CF fins.

I used to have a Disco. I'm 145lbs and a good surfer. I liked the AM1s the best. turned tight in the pocket, good speed generation. I also used the WCT on them but preferred the AM1s better. But always remember what works for one person may not work for another

+1's for the am1's. Although it is personal preference
