i was wondering if i got the wrong board...because today i brought a board for 250 bucks company brand: al merrick...but anywayz its a 6' 6" shortboard and i am 5' 8" or 5' 9"...i was wondering if this fit me/>??

If you're a begginner then yes, you made a bad choice. For 250 bucks, it must be pretty used cuz a new merrick runs like $500+.
