How short can I go for a new board?

I'm 5'2" 125-130lbs 9% bodyfat. I'm pretty fit and was learning on a 6'4" which I broke today in overhead conditions. I can pop up easy, take the drop and bottom turn with this board. So I was wondering how much shorter I can go on my next board? I know smaller boards are easier to carve and turn and pump. Thanks!

Took the plunge and got a sick 5'10". Tried it out today...wayy easier to duckdive and paddling is about the same as my 6'4". Catching waves is a little bit more difficult but I managed.

shorter you go, the harder its gonna be to catch waves you know that right? well anyways i'd go for a 6' but thats me, im 5'8 so i cant go any smaller or i'd probably just sink. and yes its easier to duck dive since its smaller. so, whatever you want dude

Something to keep in mind:

You may want to go longer than what most people are saying because your waves (Hawaii) are much faster and more powerful than what everyone else is used to.

I've heard people from Cali. say that they have to take longer boards with them when they travel to Hawaii...
