Manuevering a fish board

How difficult is it to manuever a true fish board? The ones with the deep swallow tail, real wide and small. How does it compare to the typical short board? Thanks.

I really like the way fish ride. Theyre really fast but not quite as manueverable as a normal shortboard, but you can still do cutbacks and stuff. And theyre good for texas because theyll catch any wave pretty much.
Trouble is when the waves get bigger they skip around a bit cos the tail is so wide it won't bite into the water and I hate that!
