All around vs retro fish

I ride a Lost Rocket V3 6'1, about 35-36L I think more or less
so far really liking it, but i reckon that it still need a little bit of size to work well and when it s mushy hard to get speed ( and i am still a very new intermediare surfer so my technique is obviously not very good enough) BUT i am keen on buying one of those retro fish board, twin fin.
Do you reckon that a retro fish twin fin for very small days / mushy is going to be really helpful compared to the lost that i have that is ''supposed' to go well from 1 to 6 foot ? Obviously anyone having this board is more than welcome to let me know how they feel about that idea !!
