Hey guys, I currently have a 5'7 lost short round. I love the board, but I want to move onto something more performancey, but not too crazy. I mainly surf in Santa Barbara and Orange County in anywhere from 2-3 to 4-6 conditions. What do you guys recommend? Also, I'm between 5'7 and 5'8 and I weigh around 135. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hayden shapes Hypto Krypto? Sounds like the Hypto would suit those conditions but you could probably go shorter than 5,7. Heres a link to a review on them ]but I have heard that they ding easily, just a suggestion.

I'd say go smaller, a 5'7" Short Round is quite a bit of volume for someone your weight. Also, I was under the impression that the HK was more cruisey than performance.

This was pointed out not too long ago by Tudeo to another poster with the exact same question/board:

Lost Quiver Killer
QUIVER KILLER
…Is an extension of our recently released ShortRound model. With myself and so many people enjoying the ShortRound, it quickly became clear that the short, relatively flat, and stubby board was an easy answer for fast fun in smaller surf, but with some limitations. While spending time in Bali this summer I began doing some tweaking to the design. At this the point, it would be unfair to continue calling it by the same name.

To the OP, what do you dislike about your current board? How is it holding you back?
