Fred Rubble

Hello . My name is Massimo I am 6.2 (190 cm) 80 kg. I started surfing 3 years ago after 2 years of sup surfing, I surf a lot in the winter season because in the summer months in the mediterranean sea there is not so much option. I have a good sport background and 20 years of snowboard.
I buyed a new fred rubble round tail 5 fins 6.4 at 34.6 liters

My previous board was the superbrand toy 6.4 at 34.5 liters. Before I had buyed a dion angius 2 always from superbrand 6.0 at 31.6 liters. With the dion angius 2 it felt like a skateboard or a snowboard very responsive and very funny the only mayor problem that my wave count decreased immediately. I start too lost a lot of waves and i ended asking myself if I had lowered too much the volume, so I went back to the toy at 34.5.

My question is simple I had some session with the fred rubble and it was very funny, beautiful board, catch a lot of waves , but I started to think that I had choosen a board with too much volume, probably it was best too choose the rubble 6.3 at 33 liters or 6.2 at 31.6 liters , in fact I was scared in lowering the volume to 31.6 but probably I had the bad experience with the 6.0 of superbrand which was for me very difficult to paddle, but the rubble is 6.2 for me with 190 cm probably fits better.

Any suggestion any ideas. Thank you in advance
P.S. Waves here are from 1 to 6 feet various type of breaks

Looks like you figured out what's too much and what's too little. So do the math and get something in the middle like a 33 liter. But you need to understand 10 different boards from 10 different shapers that ALL are listed at 33 liters, will ALL surf differently. So if you are only going with Fred Rubbles, then get the 33 liter.
