Actually I surfed Windansea, La Jolla in January '91 and it was pretty good. Here's a photo I took - http://images.snapfish.com/34336%3C%3B523232%7Ffp45%3Dot%3E2344%3D%3B66%3D875%3DXROQDF%3E232377%3A38%3B5%3B%3Aot1lsi

remembering byron bay - the pass, i gotta say point breaks because su jsut walk to the point, jump in an dont really need to paddle apart from catching the wave

I like the 10 foot sand-bar break with a nice shoulder to it. always fun, always scary.

Lennox Head

Postby caliman » Sat Sep 10, 2005 9:24 pm

Globesurfer,

Good call on "The Pass" in Byron. What a long wave and you just walk back on the beach to get it again.

Lennox Head is my favorite right point out that way. Just as good as Kirra w/o 300 people.

How awesome is Byron, dude? I went there for two weeks and The Pass was 4 foot mild offshore each day, and beautiful weather and water.

So sick!
