Magic fin combo for a hybrid-fish...H-2's & GS trailer

Postby Brent » Sat Feb 26, 2005 10:59 pm

Hey ya'll out there who like to try different things...I've lucked onto a magic combination with my hybrid-fish (6' x 20" 15" nose & tail thruster - swallow tail) if you get the chance on a similar dimentioned board give it a crack....FCS H-2's on the outsides with a wee GS trailer in the middle. Turns like crazy, goes all over the place like a twin-fin but with just that little bit more control & less sideways slide...

Lovin it.

Try $160 dollars a set here in NZ. The box is gay..frankly FCS appear to have Oakley-like aspirations with their product marketing. The box is unnecessary & a waste of resources. Thing is - these fins are good..really good. With the deeper 10 degree 'cant' they turn like nothing I've ever used. With my two 20" wide hybrid-fishes (5'11" & 6') they change them from being like a typical fish (extra rail volume/width - harder to turn sharp & ride like a shortboard) into rollerskates. Get some from your FCS dealer & try em - if you have similar boards...

The H-2 is an advanced surfboard fin, that is designed for maximum hydrodynamic efficiency, thus superior all round performance (speed and manoeuvrability) of surfboards.

Specifically the H-2 features:
• Unique fin geometries (profile, foil section, orientation) derived through scientific hydrodynamic tank and field testing to produce enhanced performance.
• Revolutionary fin construction and materials that are ultra light, strong, with desired flex characteristics
• Amazing resultant aesthetics ....

Yep, they're good.
I liked my first set so much I bought a second set a month later for another board. If that is not an honest recommendation for a surf-product I don't know what is.
Ho some from an FCS dealer & give em a crack kids...
