I'm really good at skating and i wonder if that would help me go straight to a 6'2 short board? Im 13 5'7 115 pounds, and i can go to the beach every saturday and sunday for 8 hours. So would a 6'2 be good for a skater?

have a read of this to see the usefulness of skating to surfing - if Elissa Steamer found it hard to surf, you may also find it not as easy as you think.

However, as a 13 yr old 115lbs, regardless of whether you are a skater or not, you can probably start off with a 'shortboard'. Whether 6ft2 is a good choice will depend on width and thickness and outline as well; probably something more 6ft6 and slightly wider than a high performance board (meaning around 20inches) is a reasonable starting board (on the assumption you truly will be surfing 8 hours a week)

That said, you may want to, if you can, get a longer board (7ft+) to learn the basics and then switch down to a short board in a few months

Lie down paddle your skate board up 13 hills in half an hour and that is just getting out in the surf.
Skaters, snowboarders etc have it easy they are already standing and they don't have to paddle to catch a hill. Gravity sucks

Surfing is 90% paddling and only 10% riding. You'll probably be great on the balance part. Surfing is a lot of upper body strength.

Try google up the typical skaters' upper body. Then search for images of the typical surfers' upper body.

oh another thing, when skaters get tired they can just stop and rest where ever they are. Surfers can't. Plus skaters usually don't worry about drowning.

No don't, infact dont even buy a board until you have rented as many different boards as you possibly can, you need to understand what you like a bit before making such a huge investment.
