FCS II fins, crazy!!

I was in the surf shop today, contemplating buying a board, the board has the new FCS II plugs in it. So before i bought the board, i looked af the prices of the fcs II. Crazy expensive, insane. They wanted $149 for a thruster set. I will look to get the board with futures, im not paying that much for fins.

Does fcs really think people are going to spend $150 for fins? This is just crazy. The board had a 5-fin plug, the surfshop wanted $210 for the merrick 5 fin setup. Insane.

Thats a joke bro, I felt robbed when I bought kelly's quads @ £70, but to be fair once I slotted them in I dont use anything else

Yes, FCS will rip you off because people will pay for it.

But there are companies that rip FCS right back off and clone their fins.

I use a company which, coincidentally, is just down the road from me...

They sell sets of fins that match the FCS size and shape for $35. You can't tell the difference.

There are several other companies that make FCS-like fins out there, so it can be done much cheaper with a bit of a google search.
