Well I'm new to surfing I bought a liquid shredder (you don't have to tell me it's xxxxx I know this) I don't plan on using it for a very long time I'm just wondering what should be my next step into a real board. I'm 6ft 145 pounds somewhere around there

The only questions I would ask you are; if you know it is xxxxxxx why did you buy it?
But the real question is did you buy a size and model that fits your size and weight? Did you think to read the huge amount of good advice on what might be suitable for you before you bought?
Read up about real boards before attempt a purchase by yourself!

Liquid Shredders are soft top boards right? So I presume you are now wanting to move to a 'proper' board?
As jaffa said, read around and you will find an answer - the best we can suggest will be a size, not a specific brand or board. And you will find the size for beginners discussed many times and the reason for that size. For you at your weight, I would say 8ft (or 8ft6) x 22 x 2 5/8 or bigger on any or all of those dimensions. 3 fins (large centre) and mal shape. 9ft leash, a bar of wax and (if needed) wetsuit and you are right to go.
