6'2 Chris Birch Accelerator

Hey guys,

Just had a couple quick questions, just recently got back into surfing after moving to nicaragua, i have surfed for about a year solid but just recently took a year off. I was riding a 6'4 Walden CD before i stopped and was having no problems surfing that regularly. My duck dives are fine and i can paddle well. Im tall 6'3 but not heavy at only 160lbs, and my local break is a little slower split peak than the regular fast hollow nica breaks.

My question is do you think a Chris Birch Accelerator 6'2 x 21 1/2 x no idea how thick would be too small for me to be jumping back onto, im riding a 6'4 x 19 right now and have no problem with the paddle, just feels a little narrow on the take off right now.

Basically im paranoid because i cant just go to my local shop as there are none, im going on recomendation and i wonder weather im going to small.

Thank you in advance for the help, i really appreciate some feeback.

You are going from a 6'4 x 19 to a 6'2 x 21 1/2, that is actually more volume due to the width, so yeah you should be fine.

To give you an example, I went from a 6'5 x 19 1/2 to a 6'2 x 20 1/4, and I weigh 200 lbs

21.5 is really fat for a board of that length, so I think you should be fine. You might even want to chop an inch or two off the length.
