What type of board is this?

Have this board which I like but not sure on what it is? like a performance hybrid fish or a wider shortboard... Its 6'0 19 7/8 2 1/2 so its got a fair bit of volume for someone like me who has only been surfing for like 4 months now.

But yeah not sure on what it would be classed? Anyone have any idea?
So far this board (Sideways - pumped out of a machine, hand glassed) seems to be a great board no dings and hardly any pressure dings! Also anyone have an idea on what fins would be better? (quad or truster) because I have heard different boards perform better with quad fins oppose to it being a truster?

Cheers guys

You can call it what you like, if you wish a a diamond tailed high volume short board, go to Sidewatys website, see what they call it.

Lots of high quality boards are now machine shaped (that doesn't mean they are rubbish ) they ar often hand finished and then glassed properly, if it is built on decent blank then all can be good!

Your board has a lot of progress in it for you and will handle size reasonably well too.

Surf as often as possible, get some fins to cover both thruster and quad options, maybe even try it one day as a single. For the single option avoid too big a fin as it can rip out the plugs. Even try it as a twin fin.
Lots of learning in that one board.

It sounds like from the dimensions a little guy fish or a short board. I like riding everything as a quad I just feel like it's easier to paddle and faster. Maybe I'm just going crazy though.

Looks like it is a hybrid groveler of some type. Use different fin setups for different waves. Quad is better for getting and maintaining speed. Thruster is for better turning. If you are riding mushy small waves I recommend quad but that is up to you specifications.

Okay but on the gold coast where about to get some solid swell, so hitting up snapper! a thruster would work better aye?
